After a successful Scholastic Book Fair we have geared up for some other future - and fun - activities coming later in the school year. Look forward to March, 2019 when we celebrate National Reading Month with a unique experience for every student! Stay tuned!
New books come into the Sir Adam Beck library all the time. Many new French titles have just been added with more to come in the future. in particular, we've added French tiles in STEM, and First Nations groups. Also, we've added some English titles in coding, including Scratch.
The Sir Adam Beck Learning Commons is always evolving! And with the move towards school libraries that encompass more than analog literacies, we look forward to adding some STEM resources that appeal to every age group. We are working with Micro:bits, Circuit Playground Express Cards, Sphero and Root Robots, and SAM Labs IoT devices. Ask Mr. Gard about the details!
