STEM Resources From All Over the World

Learning Commons News

Our very first 'Read for a Day' was a success! We hope to have a day like this quarterly, with different themes and with different visitors who can help our school develop life-long literacy habits. Our next 'Read for a Day' will be held on May 17th, 2019. If you have ideas, we would love to hear them!

New Titles

New books come into the Sir Adam Beck library all the time. Many new French titles have just been added with more to come in the future. in particular, we've added French tiles in STEM, and First Nations groups. Also, we've added some English titles in coding, including Scratch.

The Sir Adam Beck Learning Commons is always evolving! And with the move towards school libraries that encompass more than analog literacies, we look forward to adding some STEM resources that appeal to every age group. We are working with Micro:bits, Circuit Playground Express Cards, Sphero and Root Robots, and SAM Labs IoT devices. Ask Mr. Gard about the details!
